My couples value timeless photographs that capture the essence of their day.
They are deeply in love, and treasure time spent with friends and family. They love others, and are kind hearted. And perhaps, like me, have spent much time flipping through their grandmother’s wedding album, and therefore know the priceless worth of capturing these milestones.
About the Process

Let’s meet:
Meeting with my couples is step one for booking my wedding photography services. Sitting down over coffee – or a cocktail – in person, or over FaceTime, and hearing about your vision for your weddings gives me a sense of you. Your relationship, like the two of you individually, is unique. And I want to make absolutely certain that your personalities shine through. I want to know that our vision for your day are aligned.

Engagement Session:
This is such a special time in your relationship, full of anticipation and excitement, and your session is a great way to celebrate it. You’ll receive my Engagement Guide upon booking to help you find what location fits best, and to offer styling suggestions to make the most of your session.
03.
On your wedding day
Your photographer is with you longer than any other vendor on your wedding day, and I want to make sure we’re the perfect fit. Fill me in on all the details that excite you so far: your vision for the day, your color palette, and any other incredible vendors you’re securing for your day.
04.
When all is said and done
Your images are delivered to you within approximately 4-6 weeks, both in an online gallery and on an engraved crystal USB, along with your gifted prints, displayed in an heirloom box. Album design begins once you have selected about 50 of your favorite photos, and once designs are approved, you’ll have your memories in hand in under three weeks.

Joanna is truly gifted
I am not a religious person, but I honestly feel blessed that they photographed our wedding day. The photos are beyond perfect and captured the essence of our relationship. They pre-selected locations for individual and group shots around an expansive property with close attention to our requests, and were very attentive to including our dog harper in our photos. Joanna was extremely responsive to emails when booking and creating our day of timeline and always made me feel my questions were reasonable even when I knew they were ridiculous. Joanna promptly provided teaser photos in just a couple of days then delivered our full online album several weeks earlier than promised in her contract. There are not enough stars to adequately rate Joanna's contribution to our wedding day and we cant wait to work with her again.”

While every wedding is unique, and the total number of images will vary, approximately 100 images per hour will be delivered.

I photograph on professional grade equipment, always. A Canon Mark VI and a Contax 645 allow me to capture both film and digital images, which are processed and delivered digitally, in high resolution JPEG format

I consider myself an artist first, and film photography is my preferred medium. instead of relying on editing trends that come and go, I believe film is timeless, and when you look back at your wedding photographs years from now, I'd rather you remember the emotions of the day, and not be distracted by dated, trendy editing.
